Growing up in Istanbul, I was surrounded by history on every corner — but it was only when I began guiding visitors that I truly fell in love with my own city. Watching someone's eyes light up when they see the Bosphorus for the first time, or when they taste a freshly made simit in a century-old bazaar, never gets old.
Unlike most travel bloggers, I didn't quit my job to travel, it is my job to travel! I was trained formally 4 years as a tour guide and 2 years as a photographer, earning my certifications from the Turkish Republic Ministry of Culture and Tourism. But no classroom taught me what ten years on the streets of Istanbul did.
I've guided solo travellers, honeymoon couples, photography enthusiasts, history lovers, and big family groups — from a dozen countries, all with different wishes. And every single tour I've led has been different.
That's because I build every experience around you — your pace, your interests, your sense of adventure.
